"The breeze was just a soft whisper, gliding easily through the air. The grass rippled underneath my bare feet while shining stars twinkled and glittered above my head. I just sat quietly on the small hill as a clear night sky was above me; all I was doing was just simply waiting. A brisk breeze then blew against my bare skin, goosebumps formed over my arms and I shuddered slightly as the cool air ran over me. With this breeze however, it was no longer a simple whisper but instead a howling. The wind was carrying a beautiful song to the certain few that knew what it meant. My eyes scanned the darkened horizon as I finally saw it, the white disc rising above the tree line. A small smile came to my face as I waited for it to rise a little more as the howls in the breezy wind grew louder and more numerous by the minute. They were all calling, all yearning for the others to join their songs. I wanted to wait a little longer myself, I wanted to enjoy the others singing and howling with joy but I knew I could not wait too much longer. I could feel it welling up deep within my chest as the moon rose higher and higher. My eyes closed and I tilted my head up, my howl joining the others as our song filled the air. The wind now ruffled through my fur as my muzzle howled out the call for the other wolves to join us, for them all to send their joyous howls into the wind."
