Or rather, happy belated birthday, Motherland... ; w ;
August 17th 2605 (Japanese calendar, actually it's 1945)
After being occupied by the Netherlands for 350 years and Japan for 'only' 3.5 years, Ir. Soekarno (the first president) finally declared Indonesia's independence.
The road to independence was really hard, we didn't have any weapon against the colonizer, it was bamboo spears vs gun back then. We kept struggling and struggling until finally we could see the fruits of our hard work...
I'm really grateful to anyone who struggled for our independence. Jazakumullahu khairan katsiran...
