Another shot from the Canadian war cemetary at Nijmegen. First uploaded as a scrap, upgrading to a real deviation
I wasn't sure if the lens flare enhances or destroys this shot but now i'm liking it more.Some level adjustments in photoshop
Any feedback is appreciated!

Very nice photo. Really good angle and composition on this, the way the shadows stretch out from the tombstones is outstanding, and the tree on the righthand side gives a nice anchoring element to the photo. The lens flare here is fine...some people may not like it, but I think it does add to the image for the most part, especially since the angle of the flare seems to be along the diagonal axis. Plus a nice tonal range. So overall, a very good picture.

Nice angle, like the balance between the tombstones and the dark tree in this one, but the flares are a little disturbing.. maybe I would come to enjoy it over time... hehehe

This is, to me, a very happy piece. The sunlight suggests that those who are at rest here are being showered with warmth and love. Beautiful, baby!

Just breathtaking, beautiful....love what the sun does....it lights up the whole cemetary...like it blesses the cemetary, all the people who lies there....very peaceful...

I think you neatimaged it too much. Was the noise so aweful? I sometimes even add it to enhance the effect of old and stylish.
It's truly the only negative point I can find in the picture, the lens flare is ok and the composition is great.

hmmm thanks. i tried so hard to avoid that, overneatimaging it, but it was 5am when i submitted this, i think my judgement was impaired at that time

What an abyssal difference, very good, much better.
Now you could complete with one last touch: either brightness/contrast or level adjustment to create a better silhouette and enhance the contrast globally. That's what I would do if it was my work, anyhow like this is very nice, good job

lens flare is ok, I like it... but there seems to be more than one making different diagonals. that, i think, disturbes a little.

I'd say it enhances it... It's a fabulous shot. The contrasts are great not only in a physical sense...but a symbolic one as well. Light is usually regarded as that which gives life and brings good to the world. The strong lighting combined with the tombstones (death of course being quite a contrast to light symbolically) seems to suggest the continuance of life even after death.
Just a thought...
But yea, In my opinion I think it deserves deviation status. I think I like this one the best out of the cemetary shots.
