Leaving one of my favorite locations during twilight, after a dense bath of dark clouds and ominous sun (as well as some photos taken), all I could hear was my breath, my steps, and the wind... This was one of those moments where I could feel my awareness and conscience expand into a serene state of mind, soothing the harsh moments of a tough day and calming the turbulence of useless thoughts.I felt pleasantly isolated, but at the same time connected. I was now standing right where this photo was taken, and suddenly that piece of isolated land I had never payed attention to, started making sense. Noticing the moon sneaking the night's beginning at the top, I had to grab my camera for a last time, and capture this moment.
And so here I share it with you...

Photo taken with Cokin 3 stop ND Grad filter. Post processing with orange filter applied to the sky, colour balance adjustment of the land portion and overall contrast enhancement.

There's a narrow path that invades the sea, about 2 kilometers long. I took this photo while standing in the first half of it.

Such a vast range of colours in one photo and each in good contrast with the other! This is yet another mouth opening photo from your collection, one I would say is up there with my favourites and if I hadn't already faved one of your other works today this would have taken its place.
Only niggle I have is the moon is slightly blured, but other than that this is a very beautiful photo.

Por vezes passamos por um sítio e não nos damos conta de pequenos pormenores que nos deslumbram. Talvez seja o tempo, talvez seja a nossa mente a bloquear algo. Deixaste-me estarrecida com este trabalho, pois fui hipnotizada pela solidão daquela ilha e pela cor que a envolve de forma tão sublime. Fizeste-me perder, mais uma vez, na imensidão profunda daquele céu que me arrasta o olhar para além dele e envolveste-me numa paz tremenda que me arrepia os sentidos.
