I use to see a lot of this expressions on commercials for underwear or something different, but what is it actually?

Do you look like that when you desire something? It's much more look to me like disappointment. You have work on something for a long time and now you are looking at that collapsing and you are powerless to stop it. Or maybe like you'v said, desire, but disappointment because you can't have it?
