Wow. I think this is the first all background that I've seen you make. I'm...much more than impressed, if that's possible. What did you parents think when you showed them?

I don't know, that's why I asked. I have no idea you had to go to the doctors.

XD thats around the same age i got into sherlock holmes as well. only it was in 8th grade and it was "the adventures of sherlock holmes". i had a vague introduction to him at first, hearing about basil rathbone and nigel bruce from my mom. then there was the disney "great mouse detective" and speilberg's "young sherlock holmes".
initially, i was introduced to cap and red skull in the 90s spiderman animated series. my interest really kicked off when i went to universal studios for my 7th grade field trip. they had a whole comic hero section in the theme park- i was very happy that moment. after that, i was drawing them constantly. red skull i find more favorable to draw because i have an interest in the human skeletal system, though i prefer cap of the two. plus the fact of red skull being a previous nazi makes him a not so favorable character among the public- and who wants to be mainstream? lol
i havent exactly followed hell boy, but i think i would love abe sapien the most of the characters.
OMG yes! i cant wait for it to come out!
pfft friend in strange places?

I used to watch the old black and white Sherlock Holmes movies when I was a kid, probably a Saturday afternoon movie...
I think that I might have seen both The Great Mouse Detective and the Young Sherlock Holmes...but can't remember alot about either of them.
I think that I was just getting settled into bieng married in the early 90's and don't remember watching Spiderman,,,but my husband and I used to watch the animated Batman every week... I did watch the earlier (70's?) Spider-Man, Hulk, maybe Submariener? Cartoons!
I got into Captain America when I got hooked on comics. As for The REd Skull, hell, he is a bad guy! There are some great movie villians that were Nazis. Cronen for Hellboy is Nazi, the REd Skull, What about the first Indiana Jones Movie. I don't see the problem
Hellboy, the B.P.R.D. and movies...they are like blinking Soap Operas...once I started reading those comics, and watching those movies. Snagged! I am a pathetic old lady who has to have her stories! Forget Abe,I wanna hug Roger the Humunculous!
