Breeding Info:
The rose markings are dominant which is why they're more common. So breeding a rose to a FD with say sunflower 'dapples' will most likely result in a rose 'dapple' foal BUT there is a chance of getting a foal that doesn't have rose 'dapples' (we'll use RNG to decide this) Even breeding a rose and a rose together there's a 1/20 chance of the foal being a different flower.

FdFd x nFd = FdFd OR nFd (there's a 50/50 chance, we ask that people use RNG to determine which they get)
nFd x nFd = nFd
FdFd x non-Flower Dapple = nFd
nFd x non-Flower Dapple = nFd OR non-Flower Dapple

Notes:
- If they get used as breeding machines there's a chance the horse will be reclaimed and resold - *orengel

- The FdFd x nFd breeding - if it becomes a problem then we will take action

- Be sure to read New Flower Dapple Breeding RulesAll the admins have talked it over and we feel that we need to set some rules down. This will only apply to Flower dapples (rose dapples) for the time being.
We are finding it that it is too easy for someone to breed their Heterozygous Flower Dapple and choose to have the foal inherit the gene. This is supposed to be 50/50, not every foal bred from an nFd should show/carry the gene.
So:
- From now on it is required to send a note to the group when breeding nFd flower dapples. No note needs to be sent for FdFd genotypes, just the nFd.
- Notes should be titled FD Breeding and include links to the Sire and the Dam you wish to breed and an admin will RNG if the foal will have the gene or not.
- Any flower dapples born that are not noted to the group will be void and asked to be changed.
- Please do not design any foals until you are given conformation on whether or not your foal will have the Flower Dapple Gene present. before you wish to breed your Flower Dapples
