Personality and Backstory: Cartimandua, from appearance alone, is a painfully starved chitter. When she first came to earth she was infatuated with ability of humans to resolve things so cordially, where so many creatures tend to only wish to fight and hurt each other, but such puppy love was unable to last for her. What she learned is that humans are incredibly reluctant to solve their issues, and when they do, rarely do they feel something has been properly finished to their tastes. As such, Cartimandua has been slowly starving since she came to earth. Her ability to trust others is quite weak and she is often quite forlorn.

Such small resolutions, like solving minor self issues or small squabbles are but scraps for her that keep her alive, and the most important things that need to be resolved-- relationships between a couple, a fight between close friends, or personal stress one has bottled up and has been too afraid to mentions-- the real meat of resolution, are rare dinners for her. Humans would rather cut themselves away from a source of conflict than attempt to resolve something, and she has learned this in the most bitter way possible.

She is desperate to help humans, but her appearance that has become emaciated and bony (in more ways than one) often scares humans off, and she is not as clever as a Siren to be able to truly interact smartly with humans to help them resolve issues they avoid. In the beginning, much like a dog, she'd provide comfort by existing, but as she starved, she became a repulsive thing. She is unable to die, sustaining herself off of indirect emotion keeps her on the brink of living, which is torment to her, constantly starving for more.

Cartimandua is sometimes found lurking with other sluags of Mistress Kirin's brood, but has taken to be a bit of a loner, feeling unsafe around other creatures when she is so weak. More often than not, she attaches herself to a Siren of Kirin's brood instead, following around a larger, stronger, and smarter creature which is considerably less likely to turn on her.

She visits Mistress Kirin as frequently as possible, but doesn't speak much, and sleeps often in her presence if allowed.
