”It is way too bright out,” Jordan complained. It was sunny but that sun was obscured by some clouds. Regardless, it wasn’t too pleasant on their hangover. The night before they had went to a rock show as a band they liked happened to be performing in Florida—the state they were visiting for the show. The took full advantage of the bar, only regretting it a little. The dog they were handling had no respect for the state they were in, barking at a car that was reversing in the parking lot.
Jordan and the dog got all set up and settled at the show ground. Orange was over-excited from the hustle and bustle while idling and became a little difficult. While waiting for their round to start, he was out in a covered portable cage and asked to settle. This method worked well, and once it was time to show he was ready to work. Orange had only been to one show before, and was still getting acquainted with the whole thing. Despite this, they did amazing in the show ring so far. They didn’t care much for the other dogs and people and stayed focused on Jordan and what they were to be doing. Orange may have had more fun doing something else, but was content walking in circles and standing around for the judges. The whole thing went fairly well, making Jordan happy. The less difficulty the better, but if any funny business was to happen, they were prepared for that too — it would just be annoying to deal with while their head was constantly pounding in the background.
”Alright, alright, we can get to the fun part.” Jordan knew exactly what to reward the puppy with after their rounds were done. He was quite a young puppy to be trying to offer a focused heal, and if that’s what he wanted to do, they would. In a calmer corner of the area Jordan snuck in some obedience training. Orange took in every moment of it and focused on learning, so much so that he jumped when a dog got off leash and ran over to him to play.
