Beautifully done. I love how the paws turned out. Only critique is that I think the "V" on the forehead is possibly a tad too wide. I really should upload the pictures of my dolls on DeviantArt one day... Here's the pattern I used at a smaller scale.

Yeah, finding the right fabric can be tricky. When I did the kimono dolls their scale was 12 inches as opposed to the recommended 18, I believe. Turning out the arms was a real hassle; I have a graveyard of them around somewhere still. *laughs* The underlayer needs to be a high thread-count for durability and lack of stretchiness, while the outer (skin) layer needs to be nice and stretchy. This can be challenging when doing the arms because they're sewn as one piece. Instead of yarn I used human weave hair [link] to get the job done. Sewing that in was hard, but so worth it. As far as stuffing, I had a type of shredded polyester. I have to look up the brand again because their IS a difference. This stuff packs very evenly.
