Description
This picture depicts Alihara just before she meets John for the first time. She appears before him as he's dying, being the victim of a witch burning. She vows to save him via a wish, but being a dark fae there was malice in her intent. In order to save his life, he would have to sacrifice the life of another close to him. Feeling betrayed and wanting revenge he took her offer and killed not just one but everyone in the village. While impressed at his swift action she informed him after the massacre that unfortunately it was all for not, because the sacrifice had to be someone he currently loved. Because of this, she cursed him with immortality by making him an undead creature, similar to that of a vampire.
