I think I like this one the most. The background gradient is more prominent than the others, at least for me then.
Also I think more darker shading behind the neck and around the chest could have given the piece some depth...especially if it's understandable that he's in some sort of strange "sea"
(I'm at a loss for the right words but you know? Um "engulfed but with that head up profile above everything" I hope you get me...).
