This is a piece I've always wanted to make but never thought I could. However i'm really proud with how this turned out...even if i procrastinated a LOT when finishing it. This is one of the first real pieces I've made using Paintstorm so i tried hard to use new brushes to see what I could do. I'm terrible with shading or making lights proportionate to contrasting darks, if that makes any sense, so it felt great when the lights and darks started to feel, for the most part, real. Also, i know the proportions on the stag are kind of weird but i'm terrible with that too and feel they came out pretty fair.
