~ Brother Martin with the Mysterium Xarxes ~

Martin sleeps and dreams of opening a book for a bit of light reading. He realizes too late that the book is the Mysterium Xarxes, which is too dangerous to handle without the proper warding spells, for which he has forgotten to prepare. At that moment Martin knew he was trapped by the book's power, and was inflamed by his former lust for daedric magic. He was about to be drawn inexorably, helplessly, towards Oblivion...

And Martin awakens in a panic a moment later, safe as can be in his bed in the Emperor's chambers at Cloud Ruler Temple. Baurus the Blade peeks into the room and asks if all is well. Martin sighs with relief.

"I can't escape the Xarxes, even in my dreams..."

Inspired by all the times I had dreams about forgetting to put on my mask while in a crowd of people.

Did a quick sketch last night, which was just supposed to be a sketch. But then I added color. And effects.

Ended up being a hit over at Twitter, even though Twitter completely jaypegged the thing.
