Description I was bored so I thought I'd pixel some mountains and stuff. It's almost May and it is still snowing here in Colorado. (Well, it did the other day.)

Edit: I took off the animation. After awhile, it just looked as if it were clashing.

Thanks so much!
This one of my only realistic pixel arts and I was really proud of it when I finished it.

I love your artwork and this is one of my favourites! What program do you use exactly?

I always feel a bit awkward when people ask me this because I don't use a traditional program (like ms paint, psp, and photoshop) for making my pixels. Instead, I use animation shop (which is jasc software and a cheap program accompanied with psp when you buy it. Kinf og like Imgage ready is to Photoshop.)

It isn't meant to be a paint program, but it has the basic paint tools one needs for pixeling. (paint brush, erase tool) accompanied with a tool I especially love - fast zoom as well as transparency. Right now my mouse is kind of broken, so I have to use the actual magnifying glass instead of scrolling to zoom in, though.
This program also allows easy transparency simply by flood filling transparency - good for pixel that don't have backgrounds.

Not to mention, it's nice for animating in the end. I just love the program and have become so used to it.

Anyway, thanks for asking and thanks for the compliment! I am thinking about puting this in a F.A.Q. for the future if more people are wondering.

I like it very much.... ...I think this piece proves my point that pixel-art is the closest medium of digital art to the impressionistic oil paint art of IX/XX century art...
It is a true painting.....

Kind'a reminds me of Hitlers early work .

Thank you! I am glad to get a comment on this particular deviation as it isn't among the favorites of my other pixel art and I was really proud of it.

Reminds me of one game i used to play a lot called Noctis, where you could just wonder around planets and explore beautiful sights.

Good job on this

As I said, I love it! It's a more real-y pixel thing compared to when yuo usually do. o_O I have no idea how to say that right . . .

Yeah, definitely. I am tired of the snow!

Thank you, and yep, it is a change from what I usually do. I am glad it appears to be realistic to you. ^^

It's so darned realistic. If I printed it on a large poster board and put it against my window, I wouldn't realize it was not the real window. view.

Lawlzzzzz!

Alrighty.
You need to get an animation program like Jasc Animation shop (Which comes with Paint Shop Pro) and you basically work with frames and you just combine them. If you ever get a program for animating, I will be more than happy to help!
