im trying to paint this very same picture with photoshop cs6. i screenshoted the pic from the multiverse comic. the thing is i would love to know how to do that effect you did on the lightnings to paint the border blue and purple but i cant manage to create it.
any help?

Create a layer of white that matches the outline of the lightning and beams, fill it all in white. Make a new layer under the white and use the airbrush tool. Try to have the colours just peak out beneath the white.

from what i could tell on the most recent page hatchiyack did a pretty good amount of damage to gast. and babidi might make hatchiyack a majin minion of his (majin hatchiyack exists in dragon ball heroes)
