Puh! Finally I've finished this fanart from Jean M. Auel's book series, "Earth's Children". Here's Ayla, the heroine of the series
Oh boy, oh boy!! This was fun to do!! Ayla is definitely one of my biggest role models and the books have taught me a lot about the way I look at both myself and others.I have wanted for a long time to give Ayla, the heroine of the books, kind of an animated look - hope it makes some sense
Besides, it was a really good chance to study how to draw rock and tree structure and cummulus clouds!
So, this is some of the shit I've been working on in my holiday.

I love the clouds on the background. But I think that the best thing of this pic is that you captured her essence perfectly (To me...) the only thing I´d say is that she has blue eyes on the book. But This pic is really nice anyway. I love how the style on her can be kinda simple but at the same time so beautiful. Nice job.
I really wish there was more fan art of this book series in dA...
