I'd be happy if anyone would bother to criticise the anatomy.As I have almost none experience on drawing horses and wasn't able to find a decent ref, I'm not able to tell where the anatomy really fails. Of course, I see some mistakes, but I bet there are more of 'em.
Either way, this is my entry for ~Kubulu s contest.
The theme was "mythical animals". And despite it allowing me to just draw an OC, I actually just felt inspired to draw something I had never drawn before.
I really hope I wasn't too late though
As it ends today and there is such a difference in time-zone.Either way, I enjoyed every second I drew this.

But hey, being able to see my mistakes is a good thing as it means I have improved since I drew it.
I think way too many artists get depressed as they see mistakes as they compare them self to others and feel they are stuck.

I loved it.
A constructive criticism then, is that I would have loved it even more if you could have improved the background a bit further.
I also think that recognizing our mistakes its a great feat, afterall we can learn a lot by aknowledging that they exist. I also think that comparing us to others its a real trap. If I was to do that I wouldn't get out of my bed in the morning

I really like the anatomy of this horse
The colour is fantastic and the pose is great as always
The expression of the horse looks a bit sad...but this fits to the whole drawing 
The only thing that would have been better is, if the back/belly would be a bit longer...but I don't think this is a problem..everyone looks different...and as I said before I LOVE THIS DRAWING...looks so peaceful

You are indeed right about the back; short as it is I believe the horse would've problems running.
I would have fixed it right away if it hadn't been such a complicated adjustment, but I'll do my best to remember next time I'll draw a horse, or any other resembling animal.

I think I've learned a loot by sketching animals without using a ref. Though it gets horrible I easily find mistakes, and can improve them later.

I don't know...It looks pretty spiffy, and quite well done!....Hmmmm....Maybe the neck is a tad to long. And the thighs are...I dunno, they kinda bother me, maybe they're to thick? And the butt is a tad to big to (I dunno)
The belly is a bit small though. But other than that it looks pretty good

i still have problems to draw horse, even if i know the anatomy wuite well as i study it at school XD
the msot important thing i think is thath the ears are too big to it's head and has a too thin stomach
anyways it looks really nice

I realise now they are quite large... Guess I thought about those of foxes and wolfs when I drew the ears. I don't dare to fix them though, as the mane would have to be changed as well if I did.
I'll see what I can do with the stomach.
