Wonderful overall composition, which is the name of the game in watercolor. I agree, the shading of the face is great - angular on the forehead, but gritty down around his chin and cheeks. The things I'd change are so small... thank you for posting!

wow.. thats a REALLY good piece.. i love how you can tell its not "real" w/ all the strokes on the outside but in the middle the shading is just SO superb.. VERY NICE..
