I started drawing this in September of last year. I wanted to design it and make it as detailed as possible. I wanted to portray the most quintessential Halloween scene possible while also making a positive spin on it. This graveyard and mansion are forgotten by the world, but they aren’t dead or empty. The graveyard is full of plants and animals. Ghosts of past lovers are coming together. A witch is coming to meet her friend at the mansion. Even forgotten scenes like this have life and hope.
