Woo my entry for *EliteArtists 's Checkmate Contest. I decided to go super conceptual on this.
My original idea for this was slightly different but I am content with how it turned out. Click download to see full size 1500 x 1125.

I REALLY like this! Like everyone else said, it's very powerful and commanding, and adds a whole new twist to the world. It kinda reminds me of the zodiacs.. the Leo, and maybe the Saggitarius. Was that intentional? O.o
One thing I would like to suggest, though, is feathering the horse's tail a little bit, or something. It just looks flat compared to the rest of the piece.
That being said, I love the rest. It's a very smooth, mythical interpretation of the idea.
