your works have an interesting balance between simplicity and complexity . the individual shapes seem mostly basic but the way you assemble them is always so intricate and unique . one thing in particular i've wondered is how do you control the contrast and white balance so well ? the colors in your renders always look vivid and mine are always kinda washed and dull . how do you do that ?

Well i almost always use glossy carpaints as material, and usually i disable the reflection channel on the black glossy carpaint, and i always use soft shadows - maybe thats the reason. I have the same problem as you when making the "bryce" like abstract - they usually kind of "pales" - and i haven't quite figured out how to avoid that yet
