With some help and tools from my dad, I made use of the space under these steep stairs. I used IKEA kitchen cabinets, because they are cheap, sturdy and deep.
The most expensive parts are the fittings. Doors are cheaper than drawers. I used second hand drawers, in my town ist's not unusual that folks put their used furniture in the side of the street before throwing it away. So I just took out the parts that I needed and saved a lot of money 👍
If you have such an unused space to fill, and want to build in furniture,some things to consider:
-measure carefully
-draw a plan
-make a list of the measurements of the cabinets you can choose from
-draw the different possible ways to stack cabinets
-look at the tools and skills you have available and plan accordingly
-you will need to stabilize the cabinets that you cut off
-take some time and have fun 💪🛠️🪚📐🪛
