OK so this is a puzzle to me: I first took her expression as one of pride and self-assurance, but while reading that your description of her, about her absence of social intelligence, I'm not longer sure of my interpretation. And did you mean you like her realistic image of "self-importance" or "self-impotence"?
Whatever, I love that drawing and your supporting the creation of interesting women characters ^^

That is actually remarkable and EXACTLY what I intended of her expression. As a high society woman she has the decorum of a stuck up woman, but her insecurities shine through it, and is in itself interpreted as being stuck up. This is something I have experience many times myself, as I am shy and I do not intend to but people tend to take that as a stuck up attitude because I do not talk a lot. I'm soo happy this reflected in my drawing, which is why I love this drawing so much! ^^ I love her realistic image of self-importance, because theres a scene in the book where she actually rates her own efficiency in their mission, and she is just so fantastically ignorant of how strange that is. She is soooo complex... Please read the mistborn novels!!
