I really had a great time doing this character~

And I’m sorry it took me so long… I’m going trough some bad times right now. I’m in a situation where I don’t even have enough inspiration to scribble stars in the corner of the paper. I’m that bad.
I was lucky it began only at the finishing of the painting… So I just had a hard time in the end. I was going to do a bg with a city falling apart, or something like that but I just couldn’t get it done right.

Warning: I’m not a very good writer. But enough for you to get the messege. And I’m sorry if there are any mistakes in my English, since it’s not my first language.

The character:

Name: Ludwig
He’s a rare male Phoenix (I decided that male phoenixes would have blue fire, and females, the usual orange/red…)
Age: ????? He stopped counting

The story:

Dragons and phoenixes aren’t enemies, neither friends. They just coexist. The major difference about them is that a phoenix is born with the possibility to transform between human form and their original form, and dragons always look like dragons, unless they posses a human body. In the beginning dragons could posses whoever they wanted whenever they wanted, and could “get in” or “get out” without any restriction. The advantage of getting someone’s body was that they got really hard to kill, and they powers worked easily.
Dragons had a lot of vanity because of that. They ruined cities and entire communities “playing”. The world was falling apart.
Phoenixes always were lonelier and enjoyed being left in peace. Most of them live in a recluse place, difficult to find. But some enjoy living in the cities, disguised in their human forms, only being recognized by those who know: depending on the angle and light, their eyes have a strange shine, like some kind of luminescence.
Ludwig is one of the firsts of his kind, an elder, and was known in one of the major cities as a great and wise scholar. Being an elder he had a different vision of everything and acted really different from the others of his kind. He was completely annoyed by the mess the dragons were making, until it got to a point were one of them hurt a human woman he was in love with. And he got really tired of all the lack of respect from the dragons towards anything else that wasn’t related to them.
With his knowledge and huge power he made a powerful enchantment that locked the souls of the dragons in the humans bodies, and from now on, the human was in control of his own body and new powers he got from the dragon, while the dragon became only a voice in his head.

Since that, Ludwig got rid off of his fines clothes made of silk and nice fabrics and was never seen again for a long time. There are rumors he went to the hidden submerged city of Kerak, and some say that now he’s living with the elves or went to the white desert.

Well. That’s it. Sorry if it’s any confusing. Just please, don’t judge my whole story by this little piece of introduction. I’m not highly creative in this particular moment of my life -__-
