A friend of my moms passed away a few days ago after a seven year fight with cancer. I didn't know her very well, but she was close to my mother which means a lot to me. (My mother is a kind loving creature who doesn't have many friends that live close to us, so when she makes ones that do our whole family is happy.) Each of the flowers represent a part of Diane, Freesia (yellow) for how spirited she was, Gladiolus (green) for her strength of character, and Forget-Me-Nots because she was an unforgettable person. It is also a wreathe or circle to symbolize her eternal place in her families, and friends, lives.
