Quick drawing i made. This was supposed to be a study of Manictale Sans but it kind of escalated.Glad it did, though, i had tons of fun with this one!

The hatching is really good looking, well thought through and visually impressive.
The secondary light source really brings out Sans' silhouette. The soft red glow in his eyesockets adds something unsettling about the whole face that matches perfectly with the facial expression that's even more creepy due to the strong shadow in contrast with the secondary light source. Everything looks great exept for one thing: the brush used to create the snow/smoke/fog effect kinda breaks the "rhythm" of the drawing, some brushstrokes really stand out captruting the attention where it shouldn't go. I would suggest a softer or smoother brush to lower the ammount of texture in the snowflakes brushstrokes

The use of the cross hatching gives off a feeling of seriousness in my personal opinion, but also a sense of dread.
I'm not sure if he's turning to dust, or if that's just a visual effect. It almost makes me feel that he's happy about it, about dying if he is turning to dust. But either way it's a nice touch.
The visual is really striking in darker tones, but then has the touch of red in the scarf, which immediately drew my eye. What I might asume belongs to Papyrus.
Overall a fantastic piece, a lot of care and detail went into it.

Sans seems really pissed off and I love that you show a lot of emotion in this picture. I need to find out how you did the smoke on his jacket. Plus the very dark colors and the red color coming from within him and the dark scarf color. The only problem that I have is that the left side of his face has too much shading in my opinion but besides that, I love this picture.
Now I have a few questions.

It looks great. Really brings out the ManicTale vibe. I like how you didn't add the eye lights and just added the glow of red in there making Sans more manic than he is in the ManicTale AU. The black makes it seem like its clouding through the color as though he is slipping up in sanity. The gray blending in with the black is like Sans' mind is just slipping further down. I Really like how you blended the colors to make ManicTale Sans come to life. Gives off the very creepy and scary vibe glancing down at the viewer.

The art style is clearly amazing, we can see how much you have improved. The lights and the shadows are so well done in this drawing. The colors fit the character and the pose is just outstanding. Even if it's just a quick drawing, you have a lot of talent. This Sans is scary, he has a big impact with his regard. That smile gives me chills and the way he is looking at me makes me uncomfortable which means the drawing is stunning and very impressive. You can be proud of yourself, you really made a master piece with this drawing.

Holy shoot, wowie this is amazing! I really love the sketchiness of it, I think it matches Manic Sans' psychopathic personality nicely. It's super creepy and unsettling, both with the colours and angle, and his lack of pupils just adds to it. I can't help but think that this is the last thing his victim sees as they die.Β
