Description
This was done for The New Yorker contest which ends in two-three days as of now.
I am more than aware that Bowie is a thousand times better than Lady Gaga and I cannot say that I particularly favor her in terms of music. BUt as far as I'm concerned I recognize them as major icons throughout the decades (bowie marking his fifth as an entertainer and gaga who will be closing in on her first in 2018) These two have defined music in their own way and have inspired countless people in thousands of ways. I will always look up to Bowie as my hero personally but I will also recognize Lady Gaga's work ethic with respect. So this piece is paying tribute as well as crying out for attention considering I am a narcissist (admittedly).

This piece took me six hours on January the 8th (I did kind of plan for it to be done on Bowie's birthday ) and is acrylic. ANd if you dont like it, I respect your opinion but don't slam me for my opinion in return.
Also I realize Lady Gaga's hand is screwy. It was on purpose and I did it for my private reasons.
