when she became a harpy, she couldn't bear it. her human self fell into the depths of her mind, leaving only a fraction of a human mind jumbled up with bird instincts.
she is obsessed with shiny things, and seeks them out at any cost.
if she were to get pregnant, her babies would stay in her womb for a month. after that, she would lay an egg, and the babies would grow in them for the remaining 8 months. they would then hatch as harpy chicks, with fluffy white feathers.

She looks a bit older now than previously, so it kinda matches better with her being a bit older than the other characters too.

A tip for drop-shadows: after character is fully made: photoshop-style!
1.make a copy of the lineart+colors of the character
2.make the copy into ONE layer
3.make the layer's color tone PITCH-BLACK
4.pose it on the ground + strech-it in diagonal,to give the illusion it starts from the character's feet.
5.adjust the black silhouette's opacity

as i said, almost all my characters belong to stories, and each character has a defined personality and back story.
you should try and do the same with some of your oc's, as it lets you bring life to them, and let you express them more then you ever could before.

I do do that to an extent, just not entire races..i'm not that creative as i used to be..

as i said, you just need inspiration. the best way to get inspiration is to take something you like from someone else, and do it your way.
so i got a little exercise for you to help you get your flow back. since you like my arts so much, take any one character or idea, and do it your way. tweaking and adapting one of my ideas might help you come up with one of your own. a lot of my ideas were inspired by arts i saw on deviantart.
