Ink doesn't really care about the battle but Penny's determined to participate so she, being a bit of an overprotective trainer, came along with her leaving the ranch in Risa's care. Shane, as always followed Penny. Calliope and Fern came along to try and get their trainer and ranchmates to abandon the violent venture and return home.
