When I was about 5 years old, we lived in the country and had a stream running through out property. There was a road that ran passed out place, and the stream passed under it. At the bottom of the bridge was a concrete shelf that sat out over a pool in the stream.
One day I was sitting on the edge of the shelf with an older brother and cousin when the edge broke. I fell into the pool but my brother got me out quickly, which was good as there was a very large snapping turtle living there.
