I'm not entirely pleased with the BG/shading, but it was definitely an interesting learning experience, heh. I dunno how to shade with highlights properly yet, but you gotta start somewhere!

That shading is???? Absolutely amazing??? It's so defined that you can clearly define where the lighting and shadows are! (Something I ultimately struggle with ALL the time!)

I got so many encouraging, surprising comments on this picture and this one did me in, got me to tear up. Just, thank you so much. I've always hated my shading, especially since I've only made a push to improve recently and there are so many great artists out there that make it seem effortless, and even tho it's not, sometimes you just feel discouraged, I guess?? I'm so glad to have helped! I completely agree on the shading part, I can never seem to get mine to portray the light source and it can definitely be discouraging. I say your shading looks great so far and definitely keep at it!! <333
