Funny thing how he came to be; I was hearing "We're the Kids in America" by Blondie a few days ago, and I just started to draw a little kid. The kid turned out to be a mutant turtle-kid -____-' Not what I wanted at first, but I thought about the idea of making my own TMNT OC for once, so here it be.

This here is Ky (Ki-e): a 10 year old kid, who not only was mutated at birth, but was mutated by a different type of mutagen created by the Kraang. The mutagen that was spilled onto Ky was very different than the mutagen that spilled onto the four teenagers we all know. This mutagen carries a type of space element from Dimension X called Kylaqnesius; a blue colored mutagen that the Kraang had created on earth and protected, for Kraang Prime's arrival. Basically, the element inside the mutagen is a powerful and important key to Kraang Prime's ability to annihilate the whole world, and his attack on earth was supposed to occur 5 years after the ninja turtles were born and mutated. Unfortunately, the Kraang droids had lost the blue mutagen during an experiment on a mutant prisoner in TCRI. The prisoner was able to quickly escape the building, along with the mutagen in its hands.

Knowing the whole plan from the Kraang into annihilating earth, the prisoner had to keep the rare mutagen as far away from the Kraang droids as possible. Going into the town of NY (unnoticed), the prisoner was suddenly encountered by one of the Kraang droids disguised as men; shot almost to death, the prisoner was able to escape the Kraang droids once again, but not for too long. Hiding in an unknown alley, stomach covered in fatal wounds, he's suddenly found by an 11 year old girl holding a small bowl that carried a baby fresh water turtle, and is asked if he was alright. Placing the bowl down beside her, the girl tries her best to care for the wounded creature as much as possible, before he passes. The prisoner, however, refused for any help, and only pleaded for her to take the mutagen away from there. However, the Kraang droids were, once again, able to track down the prisoner, and find both the little girl and the prisoner, along with the mutagen still in his hands.

Threatening for him to surrender the mutagen, the prisoner refused, and did what was best; destroy the mutagen on his own. Smashing it to the ground, the mutagen was suddenly splashed onto the little girl, and into the small bowl as well. Not having any side affects for the human girl, the mutagen was able to mutate the baby turtle inside the small bowl, and was given not only a humanoid form like the ninja turtles, but also unbelievable abilities.

I don't want to go into detail on how this happened and how that happened, but I'll tell you this: the girl was able to escape, along with her turtle, which was now not only a mutant turtle--but a baby. Ten years pass by, and the girl became a young woman who lives on her own in NY, along with her little "brother", Ky. He's a very adventurous and edgy kid with an odd imagination; wanting to, so badly, have some friends of his own, like the human kids he sees every now and then from the window in his human's apartment. He loves to play with the basketball the young woman had found for him (even though he doesn't know how to play or what it was for), he uses it to roll it around the apartment when he gets a bit bored (that's what the basketball is there for, I just had to make up an excuse for it).

I forgot to mention one little teensy-weensy-yet-so-clever-and-mind-blowing-detail about Ky: he's actually the runt of the nest Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, were born, in the pet store, years before they were mutated. The boys were able to hatch at a different time, however, Ky's egg was the smallest out of the others, and was still developing inside the egg. It took a few more years for him to finally hatch, but he wasn't able to go along with the rest of his brothers and Hamato Yoshi.

It's a sad, yet cute and adventurous story I have filled up inside my head. I probably will write the literature, or the comic version of this--hopefully soon. Maybe. Anywho, that's all I have for now, enjoy!
