jackie was born the middle child of her three siblings. She and her two brothers were and continue to be very close. As children, they relied heavily upon each other for support because their mom was the only one around to raise them. Young jackie never backed down from anyone and frequently got into altercations with people that bothered her or her brothers. She had a tough time articulating her feelings from an early age which lead to some outbursts of anger, she never wanted to burden others with her emotions when people like her mom had bigger things to worry about. Thanks to a caring teacher in her early teen, she was introduced to poetry and fell in love with it. It helped her focus her energies into expressing herself in a non-destructive manner and helped tremendously when her oldest brother and his friends introduced her to rock music.
