A more Jokerfied Jack Napier having a talk with his future self in his head. I couldn't think of a good background for this, so for now, it has a white one.I like to think Joker sweet-talked him as he turned, encouraging him as more changes took place and he gradually lost his mind. Jacky died as he went insane and, personally, I love to think that Joker rose up through his hatred and hurt. Can you tell I'm insane yet?
This was done with no refs as well, so I had no idea on Joker's angle of the head. I just winged it. And they're both turned away, so I hope you can tell. Colored with my new prisma pencils and I've never used them before, so I like the rough way it turned out.

I talk myself when I play monster Hunter, I was today hunting Mizutsune until freaking Deviljho came, I luckily survived from it. Man I fear Deviljho, I was like I was like " Oooh, Deviljho! W-what? Come on! " or something like thatΒ AND you can guess the rest. *shivers*

I love how the "Jack Napier" version looks kinda innocent compared to his other, future self.
I would love to know what kind of conversations went on through Joker's head (with his demonic voices, of course).
Something tells me ONE of those conversations would be thinking of HILARIOUS ideas of murdering people.

I sometimes find it easier, it just depends. If I'm going for one of his certain poses, I need to look at something.
I like to think the "Jack" version's innocence is just about gone.

Yeah, just like you said.
If I'm looking for a more INTERESTING pose (or a certain one), then I start browsing on DA or other websites for the pose I want (although it's hard to find what I want exactly).
Well, Jack has to become Joker at some point. There's no going back for him, and besides, there wouldn't be much of The Batman without the crazy antics of Joker.
So...it's going to be a scene from one of your chapters?

I would love to see an "extended" version of the Strange Minds episode.
Or better yet: make a The Batman movie again, but starring JOKER this time.

For me, I have a really hard time finding good refs for poses.
Well, Jack figures he might be able to change before Joker fully emerges in his mind, as he sees it. He doesn't really understand that he's going to become Joker, he still thinks the Joker person in his mind is just a voice he's hearing in his head.
I wish they would've made Strange Minds longer, like an hour episode or something. And they should make another movie! Even in Batman vs Dracula I wanted Joker to be the main vamp, as I'm sure all his fangirls wanted as well!

I usually draw whatever comes to my head (even the poses).
but...I think I just might experiment sometime on using ACTUAL poses as reference.
It's always hard finding the right pose for a drawing.

That's just what I always figured. I mean, Jack's personality pretty much died the moment he fell into those chemicals and, due to all the pain and suffering Gotham put him through, Joker fed off those bottled up emotions and emerged from the tanks.

It's kinda creepy cause I figured the same thing, that if you asked Joker in TB what happened to Jacky, he'd tell you something along the lines of, "Jacky drowned in that vat, and I emerged." Seriously! That's if you could ever get Joker to tell ANYTHING about Jacky, which I highly doubt, since in the show he hardly allowed him to speak to Batman for more than 30 seconds.
I always think of Joker as being the most interesting pyschology patient EVER. I mean he's a tough nut to crack (LOL) and no one could ever get Jacky back, but he'd be fascinating to work with. To bad for Harley Quinn that meant losing her own mind!

I always thought that that was what happened to him too. I just always figured that once he went insane, he grew unemotional for a while, then Joker grew from all the hatred and pain he hid away over the years.
I'd be at Joker's cell every day trying to talk to him if I could.
