When I saw this in my message box, I was like wow.
That background is amazing! There are so many colours that give an amazing depth to the picture. I love it how it is so dark but yet it's so lighted up with all the streetlamps. This really includes that sort of night-ish feeling in it. The rain looks great, and that sky does too. I really like how the whole sky is so dark and covered with clouds, except that one spot what looks like it was gathering an lightning stroke. Also those buildings are cool, it's nice that some of the windows are lighted up and some are dark, 'cause obviously that is what it is, some people are already a sleep. And then there are the amazing streetlamps, they look so freaking amazing. The way you shaded them, and the whole picture is just gorgeous. The lights that hit from the lamps to the fence are so well done. I don't know how you had patience to do this, didn't it took forever to finish!
And of course there is the character. I usually forget to comment on the char when background is so cool that I am just like ''How can anyone do tha?t'', but I have to say something. There are so many details in the fur and you can really see the muscles because of the shading. Those paws are just marvelous, they looks so big and strong. And the blood on the right paw really creates this sort of ''story line'' feeling to it, makes you think what has happened. For me the posture looks maybe a little stiff, you could've made the back a little longer, so the front of the character didn't look so heavy. The expression that the character has is really cool also, I don't know what to say about it, but it looks cool.
