Brush pen? * tilts head slowly* ive never heard of a brush pen, but i love the smoothness of it! Where can you get a brushpen? o.O or is it just a brush and ink... >.>; I dun know!!!!!!!!!!!

I know Faber-Castell Produces some brush pens, they would work if you practice with them, I'd assume.

Cool pic I do like the style of it ^_^ I'm always one for strong outlines. It does kinda "flatten" the pic, but... is that always a bad thing? Emotive lines add emotion!

i think the think lines make the peice more dramatic rather then flat. It goes with the latest "simple" style ive been seeing everywhere it also gives it more of an edge so erm, yeah. Ill see if i can find teh faber pen!

well, you can get that with brush and ink. That brush pen was bought in Japan, but I've seen ones like it stateside. If your town has a college, go to a college bookstore and see if there is an art section... You can usually get mechanical pencils for drafting and other useful goodies that way.

Very interesting character design and inking method. The selectively bolded lines make for an interesting image appeal. It might even be a nice effect to try for a complete scene-based image.
