Description I think this has been a practice in writing for me because I feel like I have no idea what the hell I'm doing.

Chris was telling me that people might not be familiar with the Sphinx's Riddle/Oedipus myth. Ironically (because Meeko is based on him), he wasn't either until I told him. Do any of you have no idea what these characters are talking about?

Lately, he makes sounds like I'm talking about the stupidest shit possible when I bring this storyline up, so I'm really afraid that I'm veering off course.

Some people just don't know when to keep their big mouths shut.

yeah, rewatching neverending story inspired me to throw in some sphinxes. This segment was originally gonna be much shorter, with the cast just walking around the statues because they couldn't move. but then I thought housecats with animugirl faces was much funnier.

The bickering old people make that show. OOOHHHH It's hilarious when his dad says he has his head in the clouds and he was drawing horses in his book..

*SIGH* They're Unicorns dad.

His response is so great.

I was kind of a mythology geek as a kid, so I'm confused when people don't know this sort of thing.

My suggestion is to RUB IT IN HIS FACE AT EVERY TURN.

Also, I have had the words "incredible oedipal" in my head for years, waiting for something to attach to. And you beat me to it.

Well played, Kantz. But the next battle will be mine. >

It's a phrase that practically says itself.

Man I knew that riddle when I was a kid. Like, little kid. At first, I didn't get it because most of my older relatives didn't use canes. I was kind of a pedantic child.
