A cake I decorated at work on Sunday! : D
.. and now y'all know what I do at work ( sometimes ) haha. =v=

The way it works is that we have a catalogue of all our licensed cake designs ( ie. the copyrighted characters / designs we're allowed to use because we paid a fee for them ) for customers to choose from-

And then I have to recreate the design based on the picture provided, starting with nothing but a flat, rectangular white cake. uvu

Ideally, these are /supposed/ to be done in 20min but honestly I think that's a bit too high of an expectation, especially because you have to keep stopping to help customers at the counter !! I think this took me about 45min or so(?), which isn't so bad considering this was my first time ever recreating this particular design haha.
.. now if it was Paw Patrol on the other hand.. that one I can get done in about 15min lmaooo. |D;

The sides and top are coloured by airbrush, and the rest is made of icing ( minus the plastic princess and crown toys ofc! ). So ye everything is edible otherwise. :0
.. and these are the best icing roses I have ever made thus far haha. |D;

I wouldn't say I'm particularly good at cake decorating in that I hardly get to practice – I only get scheduled to decorate cakes maybe once every month or so, unless my coworkers are all on vacay haha – but I think I have a better eye for colour and design than some. >w>;

But I am very proud of this one!! Turned out really nice considering I'd never done it before. ; 3 ; I really loved how the colours came out.

Also special thanks to me friend Riverzknight for taking the picture because I never have my phone on hand at work LOL. ; 3 ;
