I do not know how I feel about the way tags are displayed now because if you look closely, you will see just how many tags I stick on my things and I am self-conscious about it now LOL.In reference to drawing because lately I just haven't been feeling it. But I think it's coming back maybe. |D;
Anyway, this is a request for Sycamore over on Subeta! Via the "Draw a Pokemon for the person above you" thread, as per usual. uvu
( yes I creep there sometimes- I'm not terribly active on Subeta anymore though since all of my friends have died eheh )
I'm actually surprised with how little time it took to do this, so that's a good sign I think!
I definitely need to keep practicing not having overly-perfectionist tendencies with my lineart haha. :b
I'm really tired but I think I'm gonna try knocking some other things off my to-do list so for now-

I think everyone has their own interpretations of what species the eeveelutions are most like, but I tend to see sylveon as cat-like. c':

I see Sylveon as cat-like and fennec fox like...Maybe mixed together? I don't like how the fandom tries to deny that the Eeveelutions and Eevee are based on other animals besides foxes but it's obviously there.

I can definitely see sylveon being a mix of both! I wrote my original comment a year ago, so I can't say much about what I was thinking then haha. >w>;
I think maybe it's the flatter faces that put people off from immediately thinking of foxes, but personally I don't mind the different interpretations. Eeveelution anatomy is unique enough that I don't think there's really one species or another that is perfectly analogous to them, but that's just my opinion. c:

I see more feline in Sylveon with the body, color scheme, fangs, and eyes but there's a lot of fox in it too! I suppose with the Eevelutions you can't think it's just based on one mammal because they seem to be based on various mammals.
It's still fun to guess what they are, though! Like for instance...I like to call Umbreon a rabbit, moon rabbit, bat eared fox, grey fox, black cat, etc, hybrid. XD

Yeah, I usually do that with all the other Eeveelutions and even though Sylveon is most likely a fennec fox, Asian Breed cat, dog, other type of fox, and rabbit hybrid I just call it a fennec fox/ cat hybrid. XD

In my opinion, I would draw them all with a fox anatomy, since they all share the first from, which is a fox-based pokemon. I am going to spot myself right there, to keep from ranting(And trust me, I will.) and wasting your precious time. ^^"
