This took me at least 20 hours. I'm so entirely proud of it.
I'm submitting this to the Scholastic's Young Art and Writing Competition.

its great, i do vector drawings using the vector pen tool only in corel paintshop pro X4 .. would welcome some feedback.. i use a mouse, not a tablet.. used to use a logitech MX-510 precise gaming mouse til it died on me after several years great service (it shall be missed) .. now only have a cheap mouse and the difference is massive, hate the mouse i currently have lol

Well for just using a mouse, those are pretty impressive. Your colors are really nice, as well as composition. I've never attempted vectors before, so I can't really comment on the technical side of it, but visually, they're very nice.

This one was done on CS4. I used 46 spatter for most of it, I believe. This was long before I acquired the custom brushes. I had it set of opacity:100% flow:79% airbrush on. These are the settings I always use when using cs4 or cs5.
