This is a WoF IceWing OC I had originally posted on Instagram. I am posting it here to start my Deviantart account. So here is just my original post on Instagram:

A Wings Of Fire OC I have been working on for my WoF world. This is some art work I have been working on to make a character design for him. I think I will name him Gelum because I am very bad at naming things and I just usually fallback on some other language besides English if they have some symbolic meaning to cover that up, in this case Latin. But this name will probably change eventually.

Anyways Gelum is the equivalent of a 50-ish year old human icewing. He can come off as somewhat quiet and indifferent but that is mostly because he has some trouble connecting with people he does not know that well. Gelum is also depressed because the world he grew up in has not really changed at all, and he sees no way it can change without it taking a long long time. (This story is still a big work in progress so the lore might change drastically.) But he loves his husband and his loved ones with all his heart, they keep him going, and the thought that nothing will change if no one does anything. He still really enjoys life, but it is sometimes hard for him to keep going.

For me trying to design him. I wanted to try to give a dragon some skin undertones like real skin, in this case pink/purple. Also I tried to design one of his designs like he has a buzz cut, the upper left head shot. I have a headcannon that icewings head spikes are like the equivalent of hair but obviously harder. Ice wings can style them and they grow and need to be filed down. So some icewings would just prefer to have really filed down head spikes. I still don’t have a final character design for him but I really like the bottom two ones so I will base his final character design based off of those two. I really like the long horns and head spikes.
