Line-art commission for *TheKelol ! She was a blast to draw, and i got to use some new techniques. There's something fun and effortless about drawing superheroes.
And in case anyone asked, i was asked to "tron-ify" her. haha

Effortless about drawing superheroes? That would be because the vast majority of them are wearing spandex. This Tron-ified lady is no exception. Still, I imagine the commissioner was pleased.

Proper spandex is actually very difficult to draw. Whereas most people draw "pretend" spandex over the anatomy, where fabric seems absolutely nonexistent in some areas, i always try to maintain the fact that there is still a form of flexible fabric lain over the form. Hence, it will bend and fold and crease, just as all fabrics do.

Bleh...i'm not doing any colors for a while. I'm not confident in my abilities at all, and hence don't want to fight the frustration trying with commissions. But if you're still interested whenever it is i do color again, i'll be sure to let you know.
