HAH I BET YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT ONE COMING.Haven't drawn anything Vasquez related for years..
JTHM was my first self-bought comic apart from Donald Duck.. got it when i was 12-13-something and i loved that shit to death.It influenced me in many ways. It got me into comics, drawing and i guess it also made me realize that the wonderful world of lulzy gore was something i quite enjoyed. hah.
Ehh.. The comic isn't as great as i remember it when i read it now though, a little too much angsting and baawing for my taste, but it's got it's moments and the characters are still good fun, I especially enjoy how Vasquez pains blood. Very nice i say.
I wish there'd been more stuff with Mr. Samsa. The whole "this bug must be mocking me/This bug is all i need!" thing was funny to me. Oh well..

Aww he was the first comic I bought too! Made me want to get into doing comics and all that blah. Johnny is so immature and whiny and kinda a jerk, I recently read through it again and realized these things but I can't help but love himmmm.
I wanted more Samsa and Reverend Meat stuff but it felt like it got cut short. :<
Anyways, I love how you did his head and face! Especially that smoosh nose he has. And you put him in front of COLORSSSS, they are all glorious! He looks so frail and bony hehe it amuses me.
