Leviii One of my favorite characters of SnK
I wanted to finish this drawing a while ago, but I didn't have much time... I think I drew the lineart more than a month ago xD so I'm really happy that I can finally submit this here on dA
I really love how this turned out, I hope you guys like it too

Thanks a lot! For this drawing, I still used my old pencils (Karisma color pencils), but you can't buy those anymore, so now I use Faber castell polychromos.
My advice would be, don't be scared to use some really dark colors for the shading! You can't use too much black, but just a little to create a higher contrast in color. Also, it's important to use different colors for the shading, depending on what you're coloring. For example, I often use light and dark brown tones for the skin (I shade a lot of things with brown, it's a warm color and goes with practically everything). In one of my more recent drawings (the drawing of gajeel and levy kissing underwater) I tried shading with a lot of blue-ish tones, and in my latest drawing of natsu, I even tried putting some orange in his hair to create more depth
