Here you have an interesting juxtaposition of warm colours and what I would consider to be a cold subject. The lines and contours suggest a celestial feel, which also interestingly juxtaposes what I feel are cold [analytical, scientific] and warming [faith-driven, religious] elements.
Neat stuff. And you're right, quite ambitious.
What was your inspiration for this?

It was created in december, while it was cold outside and while I had a candle beside my computer. I can not really say where the inspiration came from, but this maybe played a role. I could not have done it in summer.

That's interesting. I'm a writer, and my pieces do have very different tones from season to season, so perhaps that is something that you and I share.

Art is always a personal expression. So of course seasons, mood, all kinds of circumstances influence your art. But all artists have something in common. Real art comes from your inner self and needs no justification or explainaition.

the constant use of the sphere, obvious and implied is very nice. I also dig the colors for their warmth.

Certainly neat to look at. It reminds me of a poster you would see in a studio or something.
I get the feeling that something is being created in the image, either forged in a furnace or formed in space.
It's interesting to look at and I don't see any artistic flaws either. Nice work.

this is very cool
the powerful orange strokes remind me of magma
the only element i am unsure about is the sphere because it has such sharp lines compared to the rest of the piece, however the contrast provides interest

You can not have the stokes without these sphere. In fact these strokes are an distorted negative of the spiky sphere.
