I'd love to hear about both! I'm playing around with an idea of a big project and I'm trying to figure out what resinates with people, what creates a strong emotional feedback, etc. So chat away!

Mmm, well lately for my own project, I was into middle eastern fantasy, deserts, djinns etc, with both a focus on older and dangerous ruins, and the impact of newer, technologically advanced dominions. I've always wondered about the fantasy trope, very present with Tolkien, of lost greater ages. Seems to me human ingenuity would lead instead to rediscover and attemps to surpass de greatness of ancient ages, a bit like Renaissance.
Of course, what about the fantastic creatures and individual in this case ? Will they get resurgence, be hunted to extinction or studied ? I like too the theme of rationnal individual getting lost and enticed by alluring entities, sirens, dryads, etc and betraying their kin.
