This variety of labradorite, called spectrolite, comes from Finland. It also has a strong streak pattern rather than just a solid color. The color itself comes from within the stone, and changes depending on the angle that you look at the stone.I wrapped the stone in a fanciful setting of silver wire. The unusual patterns and color in the stone complement the metal, and the understated curls in the design matches the feel of the stone.
