Description An incredible and wonderful portrait by the awesome artist "Arkuny" here on Deviant Art

www.deviantart.com/arkuny

The character is the most infamous, feared, respected and legendary of all my female OC characters

"Valeria Mordovskaya" better known as "The Vampire Queen" and "Empress of Innocens Castitate"

www.deviantart.com/innocens-ca…

Valeria is a 1,036 year old vampiress originally of the Fighter Class

She rules the vast empire of Innocens Castitate as absolute dictator with an iron fist and is absolutely ruthless, relentless and fanatical in her never ending desire to expand her boarders and improve the quality of life for her citizens

Valeria is of the Neutral Neutral or "True Neutral" alignment and her only loyalty is to her empire and her citizens

Possessing centuries of training and experience with a sword, shield and long bow along with powers granted to her by a combination of her vampiric state and centuries of studying sorcery she is an unpredictable force of nature

Thank you. I was 50/50 on yellow eyes or red eyes but decided to go with yellow in the end

I'm working on a second unrelated vampire character but will give them orange eyes

This is gorgeous ^^ I did get confused a moment ago, I was actually slightly familiar with your Vampire Queen, by design at least

I have a soft spot for pale ladies with dark hair who wear black XD

At 5'10" (178cms) Valeria is tall enough to be intimidating without be so tall its comical

As is common for her species (vampires) her skin is starch white, her eyes lemon yellow and her hair jet black

Vampires in my world have light skin and dark hair as racial traits with their eyes being yellow or red depending on gender

Males being red eyed females being yellow eyed

Valeria usually wears her black leather dress, black latex glovets and black thigh high boots though she does have plate armour for serious battle

She sounds like fun ^^ I reckon I could spin up something cool, with some of your material here. I've got a character with a similar fondness for black XD

The real Valeria like myself is a leather fetishist. My wife Erika likes leather but prefers latex

In some ways Valeria's design is based upon the gothic Victorian era in other ways she's based on leather and latex clothing commonly found among kinksters and there is a little influence from 5th edition Sorcerers in there to

Well, Elenora probably wouldn't choose leather, but if the occasion calls she does have a ruthlessly pragmatic streak ^^

Valeria wears leather as her "usual" clothing (in the sense that 99% of the time she makes an appearance in The Vampire Queen Chronicles she's wearing her leather dress, latex glovets and thigh high boots) but she does switch to her plate armour for serious confrontations

Emily the Monk also wears tight black leather though with a chainmail shirt for protection of her vital organs

I will be revealing a "civilian" costume for Anna in the future which I think you'll like

I always liked the idea of designing different looks for characters, but I'm a bit limited by circumstance and the ability to draw only stick men, myself XD So I sort of rely on various character creator things, to give myself and others some sort of visual reference.

On the other hand, it does force me to be creative, to squeeze as much as I can out of them ^^

I can suggest and personally put you in touch with some wonderful artists that are personal friends of mine if you'd like?

With certain characters I love creating multiple costumes and different looks to signify events in their lives, specific occasions etc

I'm so terrible with names sometimes XD

Though we have a lot planned for this year

Visiting Erika's family in Hungary from April 14-May 11th then we have the LARP called Conquest in Germany from 1st-5th August, MCM Comic Con in London for 3 days in October and finally we are spending Christmas in Hungary because we spent Christmas 2018 in England with my family

I work in the graphic novel industry so I work from home which allows for a lot of freedom and creativity

I used to work in the firearms business but I no longer live in South Carolina

I have debated following in my sister Anna's footsteps and going in to security in the past

My wife Erika works as a professional psychiatrist so its all a case of planning around her work schedule

That is a versatile range of career options, you have, have had, and could have. ^^ I guess that does allow you some freedom to do your own thing, though, that's pretty cool.

I'm English but I lived in South Carolina for 6 years

I was working in the firearms industry there

Selling firearms, firearm accessories, teaching Concealed Carry classes and supervising an indoor and outdoor shooting range

I miss everything about life in The USA except my ex wife and her family

I'll keep my personal views on guns to myself, I think. I've learned there are some things online that cause arguments no matter what

Does sound like a fascinating job, all the same, though. Never been to America, I think there are some bits of it I'd like to see, some day, though.

Think of a legal firearm for what it is. A shield. Not a sword a shield.

Let me tell you a story that helps put it in perspective for you.

I once a tiny 5'5" 110lb (50kg) woman come in a buy a pistol from me.

She had come out of an abusive relationship and wanted something to make her feel safer so I sold her a pistol and taught her how to use it.

A few weeks later a uniformed police officer came in and asked me if I'd sold this women this pistol on this date. So I pulled it up on the database and confirmed yes I had.

I was expecting the worst when the police officer thanked me and told me she'd used it less than 24 hours ago to save herself and her son from her abusive ex

Oh sure she had a restraining order but its only a piece of paper and when he arrived at her house for the third time, swearing, making threats and telling her he was going to kill her she phoned the police

But when seconds count the police are only minutes away

Twice before he'd done the same thing

Turned up, forced entry to her home and beaten her to a pulp. Put her on life support the second time

This third time he arrives, makes his threats, kicks the door down...and instead of finding her cowering in a corner helpless he finds her standing there with a loaded pistol demanding he leave her and their son alone and warning him if he doesn't leave she'll protect herself

He didn't listen to the warning and she shot him dead

You can argue all day about the dangers of a firearm in the wrong hands but in the right hands a firearm can make all the difference between a helpless victim being abused and a decent law abiding citizen having the power to say "I will not be a victim"

They confirmed he did indeed have a knife on his possession and we can speculate as to what could have happened to her had she not been armed that day but I would much prefer things turn out the way they did

I won't dispute the pros and cons and my exact views purely because I know what I think, and I don't want to try and change your mind about anything either. I respect whatever you think on the matter, and don't want to drag something like this up unnecessarily. I know there is good, and there is bad, in respect to anything. In your instance there, it was obviously good.

I understand

I lived in South Carolina for 6 years and as I said we never had anyone get shot and no problems

I only had to draw my pistol twice and both times it wasn't against a human

First time I was running in the park and this cougar jumped out

I drew my pistol preyed and back up VERY slowly while shitting bricks

The cougar (who I later learned had been living in the park eating left over barbeque food most of his lazy life) just glared at me and casually walked off

The second time I had to discharge the pistol...against a rabid opossum

I shot a rabid foaming opossum with a 45

I had the piss taken out of me for months

A pistol that can potentially kill a grizzly and I shot a deadly, fearsome...opossum

I am going to go sit in the corner and stare at my feet with embarrassment now

No! You are clearly a modern-day warrior for the ages!

You don't have to explain yourself, I want to iterate. I don't think differently of you suddenly just because you've brought up guns, that would be an awfully shallow reaction, on my part

Honestly, that sounds pretty hilarious XD

Innocens-Castitate In reply to Lady-Distracto [2019-04-09 13:22:07 +0000 UTC]

In my defence the Opossum was rabid

My neighbours heard the shot and 3 houses worth on my left and 5 on my right came out with their own firearms all on high alert because they thought someone was in trouble

The police arrived a few minutes later and even they laughed at me

Of course my accent also got the attention of the police woman that responded and she bit her lip remarking "its a shame you haven't misbehaved. You'd look good in handcuffs"

For whatever reason those Americans can't get enough of English accents
