i love this. to me it seems like the poet is speaking of how we tend to fantasize about the 'if' when we are in such beautiful places or good situation, and that by doing do we are selling ourselves short and not really appreciating what we get, and then when the poet wakes up from his fantasizing it's like he is using the sunburn as a metaphor for the sinking feeling, i get at least, when i realize i should be enjoying instead of thinking and wishing for more.
anyways, i am sort of out there about it,
i love it though! can you put more from the book up?

its my favourite from the book, althought it is hard to remember since its been a while since i've read it... i found where i put it the other day so when i get the chance i'll have another read and post something up. i'll let you know when i put something new up from it if you like

i no... i wanna no who wrote it... when we were cleaning out our old house we found a green book that had heaps of poems writen in it... thats where i got this from

i'm not completely sure... when we were cleaning out my old house i found a book with lots of poems in it... i uploaded this one because it is my favourite...
